What you'll do

You are the first dedicated sales hire at Veskens. You report straight to the founder, you negotiate pricing with the founder on every deal, and you carry an uncapped commission against an entire region. Land the first wave of anchor clients and you set the template every future hire will follow.

What we expect

  • Build and work an outbound pipeline into GCC tech companies, mixing warm introductions with targeted cold outreach.
  • Run consultative discovery. Diagnose the client's hiring problem with sharp questions before you pitch a thing.
  • Carry the full cycle: qualification, walking buyers through our vetting process, proposal, negotiation, and close.
  • Position Veskens on engineering quality and our direct-employment model, and hold the line on value instead of discounting.
  • Answer the objections that come up against in-house hiring, EOR-plus-direct-hire, and local software houses.
  • Negotiate per-position pricing alongside the founder using our cost-plus margin framework.
  • Convert the first anchor clients and secure case-study rights and referrals in exchange for founding-client terms.
  • Keep the Notion CRM clean so forecasting and pipeline reviews stay honest.
  • Report market signal back to the founder: what GCC buyers ask for, which stacks they need, where pricing lands.

Ideal candidate

  • 5+ years in B2B sales with a record of closing mid-market deals on a full cycle.
  • Experience selling services, staffing, talent, or B2B SaaS into technical buyers.
  • You have sold to founders, CTOs, and engineering leaders, and you hold a credible technical conversation.
  • Working knowledge of the GCC market. Existing relationships in the UAE or Saudi Arabia move you to the top of the pile.
  • Fluent English. Arabic strongly preferred for relationship-building across the GCC.
  • You operate well in an early-stage, founder-led environment where the playbook is still being written with you.
  • Discipline with CRM and pipeline hygiene.

About Veskens

  • We place senior engineers from Egypt and the wider MENA region into GCC tech companies, and we employ every one of them directly through our Egypt entity.
  • Our clients get vetted senior engineers and carry none of the employment or compliance load that hiring abroad usually drags in. That employment model is your sharpest selling point, and no local software house or EOR competitor copies it easily.
  • Our buyers are founders, CTOs, and engineering leaders at fast-growing tech firms of 50 to 500 people. They benchmark us against a local GCC hire or against Toptal, so you sell on engineering quality and let the economics speak for themselves.

How you'll sell here

  • Two things separate this seat from a generic sales job.
  • First, you lead with quality and our employment model. Our clients measure us against a local GCC hire or against Toptal, never against Egyptian salaries. You make the quality case, and the economics land on their own.
  • Second, you diagnose before you pitch. We win by asking better questions than the competition, surfacing the real cost of a bad hire or a role that has sat open for months, then showing how a directly employed Veskens engineer removes that risk.

Bonus points

  • A live network of founders or engineering leaders at GCC tech companies.
  • A background in talent marketplaces, outsourcing, EOR, or dev-shop sales.
  • Enough grasp of software hiring to speak to the gap between a vetted senior engineer and a cheap contractor.
  • A record of landing founding or reference clients for an early-stage company.

Compensation and logistics

  • Structure: Base salary plus uncapped commission on engagement revenue.

What you'll do

You'll own the client relationship from the moment they sign up through their ongoing engagement. Success means helping companies hire great engineers while making Veskens indispensable.

What we expect

  • Onboard new clients and understand their hiring needs
  • Coordinate candidate shortlists and interview scheduling
  • Resolve client issues and ensure satisfaction
  • Identify expansion opportunities within existing accounts
  • Collaborate with the matcher team to ensure great fit

Ideal candidate

  • 3–5 years of account management or client success experience
  • Track record of hitting retention and expansion targets
  • Empathetic listener who can advise, not just execute
  • Organised with strong follow-through
  • Experience in professional services or staffing is a plus

What you'll do

You'll conduct live technical interviews with candidates in our network. Your feedback helps us identify engineers who can actually code — not just talk about it.

What we expect

  • Conduct 2–4 technical interviews per week (30–45 min each)
  • Assess problem-solving, code quality, and system design skills
  • Provide written feedback using our evaluation framework
  • Calibrate with other interviewers on scoring standards
  • Suggest improvements to our interview process

Ideal candidate

  • Currently working as a senior engineer (5+ years experience)
  • Experience conducting technical interviews
  • Strong communication — candidates should feel respected
  • Familiar with common interview patterns (arrays, trees, DP, etc.)
  • Available for recurring weekly time slots
